CHIPSET

FLASH BIOS
AWARD® version 6.0 has built-in advanced CMOS setup for system parameters, peripheral management, PCI-to-PCI bridge support and PCI steering. Supports flash devices for BIOS via EIDE interface or Ethernet. BIOS upgrades are available from the MIS web site.

WATCHDOG TIMER
254-Level timer (hardware configurable) could be set to automatically detect software anomalies and reset the processor by a predetermined time constant, enabling the system to recover from transient failures.
REAL TIME CLOCK
Incorporated in chipset with 10Years of CMOS backup via lithium battery. Backup includes BIOS setup and BIOS default.
