DESCRIPTION:

The RME-4800 series is formed around a group of integrations of a single common all steel chassis design. The RME-4800 Rack Chassis is 25inch of solid performer in its ability to ruggedly house the most demanding applications. The RME-4800 Enclosure features a lockable front door that secures four front accessible 5.25" drive bays for fixed or removable media as well as optional internal brackets that based on unit configuration can host two to eight hidden internal 3.5" drives.  This is the ideal high capacity, low profile, (only 4U high) system or server enclosure.  Single or dual front mounted power supplies on some integrations and single unit high capacity power subsystems or dual redundant hot-swap power systems on other integrations.  The RME-4800 series rackmount and table top enclosure is one of the most "convertible" chassis designs available in the IPC Marketplace
