DESCRIPTION:

The SBC-1443 is an ISA Single Board Computer, capable of supporting Pentium III™ (Tualatin) or Celeron™ processors up to 1.56GHz, which utilizes the VIA® PLE133T chipset. The SBC-1443 features dual fast Ethernet capability, AC97 Audio, and compact flash socket. Supplementing this offering is a video interface with 4x AGP performances and the capability of supporting flat panel displays.

PROCESSOR SUPPORT
Supports Pentium III™ (Tualatin) FcPGA2 up to 1.56GHz, Pentium III™ (Coppermine) FcPGA and Celeron FcPGA CPUs up to 1GHz (Socket 370) with FSB clock cycles @ 133MHz / 100MHz / 66MHz.

CHIPSET
The VIA® ApolloTM PLE133T combines the performance of the VT8601 “Northbridge” (which provides support for Pentium IIITM / CeleronTM processors, a 133MHz system bus, and PC133 SDRAM memory as well as, integrated AGP 4x graphics support) and VT82C686B “Southbridge” (which supports ISA bus, EIDE  ATA-66, and USB functionality).

HOST BUS INTERFACE
ISA bus supports 16-bit transfers @ 8.3MHz via ISA backplane

FLASH BIOS
AWARD® version 6.0 has built-in advanced CMOS setup for system parameters, peripheral management, PCI-to-PCI bridge support and PCI steering. Supports flash devices for BIOS via EIDE interface or Ethernet. BIOS upgrades are available from the MIS web site.

L-2 CACHE
Integrated via CPU, contact your local representative or MIS for available cache sizes when specifying CPU.

DRAM MEMORY
Up to 512MB of SDRAM in one 168-pin DIMM socket (supports PC133 / PC100 / PC66)

EIDE ULTRA ATA-66 INTERFACE
PCI Enhanced IDE with Ultra-DMA 66, supports one port and up to two ATAPI devices. Ultra DMA transfer rates @ 66MB / 33MB per second via 40-pin Box header

WATCHDOG TIMER
128-Level timer (hardware configurable) could be set to automatically detect software anomalies and reset the processor by a predetermined time constant, enabling the system to recover from transient failures.

REAL TIME CLOCK
Incorporated in chipset with 10Years of CMOS backup via lithium battery. Backup includes BIOS setup and BIOS default.
