DESCRIPTION:
The SBC-5447 is a PCI Bus Single Board Computer, capable of supporting Pentium III™ or Celeron™ processors up to 1.56GHz, which utilizes the Intel® 815EB chipset. The SBC-5447 features dual fast Ethernet (10Mbps / 100Mbps), video capabilities supporting a variety of displays (CRT / TMDS flat panel / TV output), audio functionality and support for Compact Flash disks.

PROCESSOR SUPPORT Supports Pentium III™ Tualatin FcPGA2 up to 1.56GHz, Pentium III™ Coppermine FcPGA, and Celeron FcPGA CPUs up to 1GHz (Socket 370) with FSB clock cycles @ 133MHz /100MHz / 66MHz.
CHIPSET Intel® 815E provides support for Pentium III™ / Celeron™ processor. Intel® 815E has two controller hubs which include 82815 Graphics and Memory Controller Hub (GMCH) and the 82801BA I/O Controller Hub (ICH2). The 82815 controls the graphics controller and PC100/133 SDRAM. The 82801BA controls two USB controllers (four ports USB 1.1), ATA/100, LAN interface, AC ’97 6 channel audio, PCI, super I/O.
HOST BUS INTERFACE PCI bus supports 32-bit transfers @ 33MHz, via PCI backplane.
FLASH BIOS AWARD® version 6.0 has built-in advanced CMOS setup for system parameters, peripheral management, PCI-to-PCI bridge support and PCI steering. Supports flash devices for BIOS via EIDE interface or Ethernet. BIOS upgrades are available from the MIS web site.
L-2 CACHE Integrated via CPU; Pentium III has options of 256KB or 512KB
DRAM MEMORY Up to 512MB of SDRAM in one 144-pin SODIMM socket (Supports PC133 / PC100 / PC66).
EIDE ULTRA ATA-100 INTERFACE PCI Enhanced IDE with Ultra-DMA 100, supports one port and up to two ATAPI devices via 40-pin Box header. Ultra-DMA transfer rates @ 100MB / 66MB / 33MB per second.
WATCHDOG TIMER 128-Level timer (hardware configurable) could be set to automatically detect software anomalies and reset the processor by a predetermined time constant, enabling the system to recover from transient failures.
REAL TIME CLOCK Incorporated in chipset with 10Years of CMOS backup via lithium battery, backup includes BIOS setup and BIOS default.
