CHIPSET
The Intel® 430TX chipset is optimized for the Intel® Pentium MMX processor to maximize performance for media rich applications. The 430BX is comprised of an “82439TX North Bridge” (which provides support for the Pentium MMX processor, 512KB L2 cache and up to 256MB of SDRAM memory) and “82371AB South Bridge” (which supports ISA bus, EIDE ATA-33, and USB functionality). Together provide PCI host interface bus support.
