DESCRIPTION:
The WME-4500 series of vertically oriented, wallmount, passive backplane - SBC based system enclosure provides six or seven full or half length slots of SBC or I/O cards support while at the same time supporting two 3.5" drive devices, (one hidden) and one 5.25" drive device in a total width of barely that of a CD-ROM drive. HiRel fan and PS/2 power supplies allow MTBF calculations in excess of 50,000hours. The total number of available board slots is dependant on the integrator's choice of SBC type and passive backplane bus type. The WME-4500 is a unique and efficient solution to those installations that are horizontally challenged but still need higher capacity than the typical shoebox chassis can provide.
