DESCRIPTION:

The RME-6500 is a cost/effective rugged, 6U rackmount chassis designed for single system, 20-slot passive PICMG / ISA passive backplane that can be optionally replaced by a segmented dual or quad system PICMG / ISA backplane. The RME-6500 offers space to up to 11 (eleven) drives bays Ten of these bays are front accessible placed behind a lockable front door. The chassis supports high availability features such as redundant hot swap power supplies of up to 900watts and 4 high performance cooling fans. The RME-6500 is designed to meet the most exacting needs of complex system applications.
